Itinerary 

12/27/2012: Flight Sofia - Lima. Arriving in Lima. Meeting at the airport by a representative of the local tour-operator and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight.

12/28/2012: Breakfast. Pay a visit to the colonial part of the city. Visit to the Cathedral, Main Square with the Palace of the Governor and the Town Council, the church of "St.Frantsisk" with its catacombs. Visit to the neighborhood Miraflores and San Isidro (new centre of trade, south of Lima), the tour ends with a stroll along the Pacific coast. Return to hotel. Overnight.

12/29/2012: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight from Lima to Cusco. Arrival, meeting at the airport by a representative of the local tour-operator. Departure to Urubamba Valley - "Sacred Valley of the Incas", where you will visit the town Pisak from the colonial era, situated at the foot of the hill housing the remains of buildings from the time of the Incas. Every day, in the main square, a colorful market is held where you can buy all sorts of pottery, wool blankets and ponchos, antique reproductions, jewelry and more. Every Sunday morning, before the meal, here is a meeting of all the mayors in the region, dressed in traditional clothing. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Afternoon excursion to Ollantaytambo, from where you will climb to the Inca fortress of the same name at the top of the mountain. Transfer to the hotel in the Valley. Accommodation. Overnight.

12/30/2012: Breakfast. Transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, from where trains are travelling to Aguas Calientes at the foot of the ruins of Machu Picchu (approx. 1. 30 h). Upon arrival you will be greeted by a local guide and a bus will take you to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Sight-seeing in "The Lost City of the Incas" - Machu Picchu, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO and built entirely of stone, perfectly matched to one another. This impressive city had its houses, temples, warehouses, a large urban center, and all connected by narrow streets and staircases. The city was surrounded by terraces, cut into the mountain, which were used for agricultural purposes. Return to Aguas Calientes. Lunch. Afternoon - return to Ollantaytambo, by train to Cusco and transfer. Overnight.

12/31/2012: Breakfast. Sight-seeing tour of Cusco and its archaeological area (approx. 3 hours), continue the tour to the main square, the Cathedral and the church of "Santo Domingo." The tour continues with a visit to the archaeological zone Saksayuaman fortress, considered an architectural masterpiece of time before the Incas, from which one can have a magnificent view of the city, the temple Kenko, Puca-Pucara fortress and Tambomachay. Leisure. New Year's Eve Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Overnight.

1/1/2013: Breakfast. Leisure in Cusco. Overnight.

1/2/2013: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Cusco. Flight Cuzco - Lima. Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

3/1/2013: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight Lima - Sofia.
